Scramble Rules

Each team will consist of (4) four players based on handicap (A,B,C,D). You will have the same team both days. The “A”: player is the team captain. We will be playing eight-somes, with the team captains exchanging score cards and registering the score for the other team after each hole. Remember, all scorecards must be signed by both “A” players to verify their correctness before entering the clubhouse. Turn all signed cards into the golf pro.

The “Scramble” procedures are as follows:

1. All players will tee off from the white tee boxes. Players 65+ tee off from the red tee boxes. Each team selects the most beneficial drive. Each player of the same team will then hit very near the best drive, whether in the rough or fairway. Remember that designated balls may not be placed more than on club length from the mark & no closer to the hole. NOTE: If the ball is in the rough, you must stay in the rough & not take a club length to get into the fairway.

2. Once on the green, the team decides on the best ball. Mark that ball & pick up the others. Putt in any order from your mark.
A.) If any player is putting for a birdie 3, but misses & is very close, he may putt again for a 4 (but first he must mark the ball), this DOES-NOT-KILL the hole. If the next player makes the birdie putt, then the birdie (3) will count & be recorded on the scorecard. That is the team score for that hole.

Final team score will be the (2) two-day team gross score minus the “A” player’handicap.
